- As part of the LIMS Industry Outreach program, the students interacted with Dr. Juby Vijay, the Strategic Accounts Manager with Airtel in Chennai. Dr. Juby Vijay is into strategic accounts manager and students got to hear from him the nuances of managing key accounts and connect it with the theory they learnt in B2B sales class and Sales & Distribution classes.
- Students had the opportunity to visit Muralya Dairy as part of their industrial exposure programme. Being a full automated plant, the students got an opportunity to witness first-hand the operations and management of this advanced facility apart from learning about the milk production and distribution process.
- Mr. George Koshy, Director of the Chandrayaan and PSLV program, ISRO, delivered a guest lecture and gave an overview of the managerial challenges one faces when working on such mission critical programs.
- Q-uotient 2019, the business quiz event, was organized by the students of LIMS where 97 participants from graduate collegs in and around Trivandrum participated for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. The total cash award was Rs. 20,000.
- ASTROBS 2019 was organized by the MBA students for the graduates of LMCST B-Tech and Hotel Management institute. 54 students participated in the event.
- The Trivandrum Zonals of the All Kerala Maria Philip Debate 2019 was organized at LIMS wherein 24 teams participated for the Top 2 zonal awards. The best two teams selected from here got to participate in the finals at XIME Kochi.
- LIMS students got an opportunity to visit Pankajakasturi Herbals as part of their industrial visit program. Students got the opportunity to learn more about the process of making herbal remedies and an overview of their management practices.
