Dr. Syamnath R S is currently working as Assistant Professor and Head of Department (I/C) of Lourdes Matha Institute of Management Studies (LIMS). He has over 8 years of teaching experience, 2 years of experience in Advocacy, and 4 years of Research experience. He started his career as an Advocate in District Court, Trivandrum. He entered the field of teaching as Guest Faculty for Business and Corporate Law.

He holds graduation in Business Administration (BBA) and Law (LLB), Post-Graduation in Business Administration (MBA), and Doctoral Degree (Ph. D) in Management Studies from the University of Kerala. His doctoral thesis is titled “Tourism Industry in Kerala: A Study on Legal Environment in the Accommodation Sector”. He has completed Post-Graduation in Commerce (M. Com – Finance) from the School of Distance Education, University of Kerala.

Prior to joining LIMS, he has associated with several institutes as a guest lecturer. He was a resource person and trainer to several EDPs, Workshops, and training programs organized by corporates, Government Institutions, and academic agencies.

He has published 13 research papers in various National and International journals, conference proceedings, and edited books. He has presented 25 research papers and attended several seminars and conferences of National and International repute. He has attended several workshops and FDPs.

His area of expertise was in the field of Business Law, Labour Law, Organizational Behavior, Entrepreneurship Development, Business Research Methods, Services Marketing, Brand Management, Marketing Research, Strategic Marketing, and Quality Management.
